Domestic violence is a serious problem, and it’s not just an adult problem. Teens experience abuse in their relationships, too. In fact, teens and young adults are often the most at risk for domestic violence. It affects many people in many ways and it can happen anywhere and to anyone.

Are you are concerned about your own relationship? Someone else’s? Do you just want to be more informed? Whatever your motivation, educating yourself about the issue is the first step to ending domestic violence.

To learn more on domestic violence and teens please go to http://www.thesafespace.org/.  This is a great, easy to understand website with learning tools that will be very helpful to you.

To find out more about family violence and the law in Canada the Department of Justice created a website just for children and youth from the ages of 10 and up.
